Day 4 - Wednesday 6/22

We spent most of the day in Effingham, IL while the motorhome a/c was repaired. We rented a car so we had something to do during the day. The only car they had was a 15 passenger van...which we nicknamed the tank. We saw the whole town (including stopping for breakfast, which took forever) in about a couple of hours. They did have a very cool corvette museum. We could have stayed there for awhile...they just needed more cars to look at. We didn't want to get too far from town or involved in anything that took too long, since we were waiting for the dealership to call and tell us the motorhome was ready. We drove around the town a couple of times, wandered through Menards, which was like a combination of walmart, michaels and home depot. We were pretty bored after a short time and the day seemed to drag on. Finally about 2, we learned that the motorhome was ready to go. Yipee!! We dropped off the tank, picked up the motorhome and headed out of town! Cleveland...here we come!

It poured rain several times and we've been in road construction almost everywhere. We drove through the rest of Illinois, Indiana (where we saw the Colts stadium...yea for Riley...it is his favorite team) and into Ohio. I'm not really sure which state is more green. Some areas are most rolling hills than others, but we have sure seen some beautiful countryside! We pulled into Walmart in Olmstead (Cleveland area) about midnight. Tomorrow will be a happy day!
