Everyone we talked to said that we should go to Niagra Falls, especially if we were going to be in that general area. We weren't exactly sure what we would think once we got there, but in actuality, it was truly a breathtaking sight. The amount of water that flows over the falls in a second is amazing. The park is very green and pretty. The views are awesome. We experienced a little rain that day and the mist from the falls was everywhere. We walked out on the viewing tower to get a better perspective of the falls. I'm not sure I can come up with good words to describe the sounds of the water gushing down, or the amazing sight of the falls. The mist was so thick that sometimes we couldn't see the tour boat down on the water. The tour boat takes you up close and personal to the falls. A thin rain poncho and sandals are provided (not that they help you much). We didn't take the boat ride but still got to see the amazing sights and still get wet. We spent about 5 or 6 hours there. Definitely worth the stop!!

You can pay extra to go down the trail and see the view from the bottom (and get wet)

Here are some wet tourists getting a better view.
