Elder Brandon Price reported to the MTC on Wednesday, June 17, 2009. We were able to drive him up to Provo and spend a few days visiting family and enjoying some cooler weather and green mountains. We had a great day on Wednesday, walking the grounds of the Mt. Timpanogos and Provo Temples. We said goodbye to Brandon at the Provo Temple and then drove him across the street to the MTC. It was a very quick and efficient process, taking only a few minutes. We drove in to the parking lot, were directed to a drop-off spot where we were met by a couple of missionaries who helped unload Brandon's luggage and then we were given Brandon's mailbox number. A quick goodbye hug followed and we were one our way...leaving our son in the Lord's hands and protection. We are proud parents. He will be a great missionary!
After lunch we attended the Oquirrh Mountain Temple Open House. What a great experience! It was a beautiful temple. Just a few miles away was the new Draper Temple, so of course we had to stop and walk the grounds. It was nice to spend the day with family and savour the spirit of the day.
