DISNEYLAND

Disneyland is said to be the happiest place on earth. Could it be true? Mallory's dance class was invited to dance at California Adventure Park. We decided to get park hopper tickets since Mallory and Riley had never been to Disneyland (and Brittany doesn't remember going). We had to leave Brandon home to work :(. As we entered Main Street at Disneyland, Mallory spotted the castle. She kept repeating, "Mom! There is the castle! There is the castle!" She just couldn't believe it. We first ran into Mickey, Pluto, and Goofy. We did see princesses Ariel, Minnie, Jasmine (Mallory said that was her favorite) and Belle. Our first ride that was a hit was the Matterhorn. Riley thought that was the greatest ride ever, until we rode Space Mountain! Smiles were found on everyone's face as we experienced this happy place. Brittany was pleased to find a few extreme rides like California Screamin', the Mailiboomer and Indiana Jones (she thought the huge bolder was going to roll over us). Next time she'll have to go on the Hollywood House of Terror. Before we knew it, we were exhausted and ready to eat a good dinner. The air was filled with smoke that day from all the California fires that were burning around us. We even had ashes falling on. We were able to see most of the park, but there was still more to see. A good reason to have to go back. It was a great day, and proved to be the happiest place on earth!
